12.4.9 Playlist tab
The Playlist tab provides controls for modification of all aspects of a Playlist
including Playlist items, Playlist files, Workspace files and compensation
files.
The Playlist tab is only available in Playlist mode.
Listmode group
The Listmode group contains options to modify the listmode files in the
Playlist.
The Listmode group contains the following buttons:
Replace: The button is enabled when one or more Playlist items are
selected in the Playlist. To replace the selected Playlist items, click the
button and select the desired replacement listmode file(s).
If the number of selected items in the Playlist does not match the number
of the selected replacement listmode files, a confirmation message is
displayed. To replace as many files as possible, click the Yes button.
Check the Playlist after replacement to ensure all the selected files have
been inserted into the expected positions.
If any of the selected Playlist items have modified compensation, a
message is displayed and you will have the option to keep the modified
compensation files in the Playlist. They are then applied to the replaced
listmode files.
Clear: The button is only enabled when one or more Playlist items are
selected and at least one of them has an associated listmode file. Click
the Clear button to replace the listmode files in the selected items with a
blank listmode item. If the currently open listmode file is amongst the files
selected for clearing, plot data will be removed. The Workspace and
compensation files set in the Playlist are not affected.
When replacing listmode files, mismatches can occur leading to error notes:
Parameter Mismatch: A parameter mismatch can occur between the
listmode file and the Workspace file of an item. To successfully replace
the listmode file, the parameter mismatch must be resolved. If the
mismatch is not resolved, the listmode file is not replaced and the error
state remains displayed in the Playlist.
If the Playlist item is open in the Workspace, the Parameter Resolver
dialogue is displayed allowing you to resolve the mismatch.
If the Playlist item is not open in the Workspace, an error state is
displayed in the Playlist for that Playlist item. The Playlist item text is
displayed in red and contains a corresponding tooltip. Open the Playlist
item in the Workspace to open the Parameter Resolver dialogue.
