12.4.2 Home tab
The Home tab is the default tab and provides all the essential controls for
analysing files in one convenient place. Here, files can be selected, regions
created and plots created and gated.
Load group
The Load group contains controls for opening listmode files and
Workspaces.
The Load group contains the following options:
Open Listmode: The button is only enabled in Playlist mode. Click the
button to open one or more listmode files (LMD or FCS files) and select
the desired files to add them to the Playlist. The Playlist item of the first
added listmode file will be activated automatically in the Playlist.
Open Workspace: The button is only enabled if a listmode file of a
Playlist is open in the Workspace area. Click the button to open a
Workspace file (XMLW file) and select the desired file to load it with the
currently open listmode file.
Most recently used: The small button at the bottom right of the group is
only enabled if a Playlist is open. Click the button to open a dialogue that
lists the 10 most recently used listmode files and Workspace files.
Select a listmode file listed under "Most Recent Listmode Files" to add
that file to the end of the Playlist and open that file.
Select a Workspace file listed under "Most Recent Workspaces" to
assign that Workspace to the currently open file in the Playlist. This
option is only available when a listmode file is open.
Region group
The Region group contains controls for creating and editing regions. You can
create a maximum of 256 regions per Workspace. Once this number is
reached, the region creation buttons in the Region group become disabled.
The Region group contains the following options:
Elliptical Region: Click the button to preselect creating an elliptical
region on a dual parameter plot.
Rectangular Region: Click the button to preselect creating a rectangular
region on a dual parameter plot.
Polygonal Region: Click the button to preselect creating a polygonal
region on a dual parameter plot.
