Instrument Settings group
The Instrument Settings group contains options to save or replace
instrument settings files.
The Instrument Settings group contains the following buttons:
Save: Click the button to save the instrument settings file with the same
name. The threshold, threshold logic, voltages and compensation
settings will be saved to the target file.
Save As: Click the button to save the instrument settings file with a new
name.
Replace: Click the button to replace an instrument settings file.
Calculation group
The Calculation group contains options to switch between automatic
background calculation and manually triggered calculation.
The Calculation group contains the following options:
Background Calculation: Select the check box to turn on the automatic
background calculation. All statistics in the Results tab and objects in the
Reports tab of the Workspace are calculated in the background as the
active panel is modified. This applies to all items within the active panel.
Deselect the check box to turn off the automatic background calculation.
You may want to turn off background calculation when you are using a
Worklist containing very large files which are taking a long while to
process.
Calculate Now: The button is enabled when the "Background
Calculation" check box is deselected. Click the button to start calculation
of statistics in the Results tab and objects in the Reports tabs of the
Workspace for all items in the current panel.
The calculation progress is displayed in a corresponding message box.
Closing the message will stop the calculations.
The calculation progress is indicated by the calculation indicator in the status
bar (see chapter 12.9 Status bar on page 184).
