Cube 8 | Operating Manual | May 2018 | Revision 032
The Format group contains the following options:
Background: Select this option to choose a background colour for all
selected plots. If overlay plots are selected, this option also affects the
corresponding gallery plots.
Data Color: Select this option to choose a colour for all data displayed
on the selected plots. If overlay plots are selected, this option also affects
the corresponding gallery plots.
Translucency: Select this option to choose a translucency percentage
for all data on the selected plots. Translucency can improve the
visualisation of overlapping populations. The option displays a
translucency percentage selection control where 0% is non-translucent
and 80% is the maximum level of translucency.
Draw Filled: Click the button to show the selected plots filled.
Fill Color: The option is available when filled plots are selected. Select
this option to choose a fill colour for the selected plots.
Gray Scale: The button toggles the colour display of selected plot(s)
between the standard colour palette and a grey scale. When selected,
the button is highlighted in orange. Then, the "Data Color" and "Fill Color"
options display a grey scale palette instead of a colour palette. The
"Background" option always displays a colour palette.
Dash Style: Select this option to choose a dash style for the selected
plots. If overlay plots are selected, this option also affects the
corresponding gallery plots.
Line Width: Enter a value or use the up/down arrows to adjust the line
width in the selected plots. If overlay plots are selected, this option also
affects the corresponding gallery plots.
Stats on Plot: The button toggles between displaying the statistics on a
gallery plot and at the side of the plot. If not all results appear in the
legend, a warning icon is displayed.
X-axis Ticks, Y-axis Ticks: Select the options to display the tick marks
of the respective axis of the currently selected plot(s). Scale tick marks
are only displayed on the overlay plot if the scaling is identical for all
plots.
X-axis label, Y-axis label: Select the options to display the labels of the
respective axis of the currently selected plot(s).
Legend: Select this option to display the plot legend at the side of the
selected overlay plots. For each plot, the overlay line colour and a
description are displayed. The default description is the X-axis label. Dual
parameter overlay plots have both X- and Y-axis labels displayed.
To modify the legend label, double-click on the label and enter the
required text or change the plot axis labels in the Galleries area. If there
are too many items present in the legend and not all legend text appears,
a warning icon is displayed.
