context menu and select whether to send the selected plot(s) and/or their
associated statistics to the report. If the last page of the report contains
any objects, sent objects start on a new blank page in the report. If the
last page is blank, sent objects start on this page.
Results tables from the Results tab of the Workspace can be inserted by
clicking the Send Table To button on the Statistics tab of the Ribbon.
FCS file information can be inserted from the FCS File Information pane
using the Send To Report... button.
Ensure objects do not obscure each other when inserted to a report.
Make sure statistics boxes contain enough information to clearly identify
which files the results come from. You may need to add file name or gate
name to ensure this. You should also make sure that enough space has
been allocated for the statistics box so that the full results are visible.
When inserting a compensation file name, the name of the compensation file
present in the Playlist will be displayed even if you have cleared
compensation, manually modified the compensation or loaded compensation
from header.
Selecting objects on the report page
The options for selecting objects on a page are:
To select a single object, click on it.
To select multiple objects, hold the Ctrl key while selecting the objects.
To select objects on a per page basis, draw a blue selection rectangle
around the desired objects. The rectangle can only be drawn when the
cursor displays the selection arrow (i.e. the cursor is not selecting an
object). The rectangle selects everything it touches. Objects on multiple
pages cannot be selected via a selection rectangle.
To select objects inserted into the header and footer regions with the
rectangle, start drawing the rectangle in the header or footer regions as
desired.
To select all body section objects within a report, press Ctrl + A.
To select all body section objects of the same type within a report, press
Ctrl + Shift + A.
