Performance Check Procedure
k. Set:
Horizontal MODE A
SEC/DIV 2 ns (with X I0 MAG on)
l. Set time-mark generator for 5 ns time markers.
m. Repeat the magnified accuracy and linearity checks for the A Sweep at
all magnified SEC/DIV settings.
7. Delay Tim e Jitter
a. Set:
XI0 MAG Off
A SEC/DIV 1 ms
Horizontal MODE ALT
B SEC/DIV 0.5 |i.s
b. Set time-mark generator for 1 ms time marks.
c. Position the Intensified dot to the leading edge of the 10th time marker
to display the rising edge on the B Trace (using the |<- o r DELAY con
trol). It may be necessary to reduce the A intensity level to observe
the intensified dot.
d. Set:
Horizontal MODE B
B INTEN Fully CW (maximum intensity)
d. CHECK—that the jitter on the leading edge does not exceed one divi
sion over a two-second interval. Disregard slow drift.
