12. Install two screws (29) and lock washers (30) at rear
of engine mounting plate (31). Do not tighten
hardware at this time.

NOTE
Use a strap wrench to prevent clutch from turning while
installing screws.
13. Secure clutch/input shaft to clutch using three
socket-head screws (37) and lock washers (38).
14. Rotate engine and clutch shaft five times, using pull
start rope.
15. Tighten all engine mounting plate hardware
previously installed in Steps 9 through 12.
16. Secure wiring harness (32) to engine using a clamp
(33), screw (34), lock washer (35), and flat washer
(36).

17. Install front half of clutch cover (41) using four screws
(39) and lock nuts (40).

18. Connect wire (44) to engine harness.
19. Connect wire (45) to engine on/off switch.
20. Install ground wire (42) to stud and secure with nut
(43).
