PTOswitchinthedisableposition.Makesureengineisoffandtheparking
brakeisdisengaged.
3.ReadPrecautionsforHydraulicT esting(page5–27).
4.Makesurethatthetractionpedalisadjustedtotheneutralposition.
Note:Thecuttingunitmotorsareconnectedinseries.Ifafaultyreelmotoris
notobvious(basedonqualityofcutissues)youmayhavetotestallthereel
motorsinthecircuit.Iftestingallreelmotors,startwiththerstmotor.
5.Hydraulicuidpassesthrougheachreelmotorfromthefronttotherear.
Disconnectthereturnhosefromthemotor(hoseattherearofthereelmotor).
6.Installhydraulictesterbetweenthemotorandthedisconnectedreturnhose.
Makesurethetesterowcontrolvalveisfullyopen.
7.MakesurebacklapknobonthehydraulicmanifoldisintheMOWposition.

unit),orfromthebulkheadtting(#2and3).Capthehydraulictubeor
bulkheadttingtopreventsystemcontamination.

11.Starttheengine,andmovethrottletofullspeed(2650±50RPM).
12.Verifywithaphototachthatthepumpspeedisapproximately3100RPM.
CAUTION
Keepawayfromreelsduringtesttopreventpersonalinjuryfrom
therotatingreelblades.
13.Engagecuttingunitsandslowlyclosetesterowcontrolvalveuntil82.7
Bar(1200PSI)isobtained.
