Note:Thegroomeridlerassemblyislocatedonthesamesideofthecutting
unitasthecuttingunithydraulicmotor.
RemovingtheIdlerAssembly
1.Parkmachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowercuttingunitscompletely
totheground,stopengine,engageparkingbrakeandremovekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
2.Removehydraulicreelmotorfromcuttingunit(refertoRemovingthe
HydraulicReelMotor(page8–6)).
3.Removethegroomerreelassembly(refertoRemovingtheGroomerReel
(page9–15)).
4.Removethecotterpinandclevispinfromtheheightadjustmentrodatthe
frontoftheidlerarm.Discardthecotterpin.
5.Removethesocketheadcapscrewssecuringthepivothubtothecutting
unitandremovethepivothubandidlerassemblyfromthecuttingunit.
