Note:Thegroomergearboxassemblyislocatedontheoppositesideofthe
cuttingunitfromthecuttingunithydraulicmotor.
RemovingtheGearBoxAssembly
1.Parkmachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowercuttingunitscompletely
totheground,stopengine,engageparkingbrakeandremovekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
2.Removethegroomerreelassembly(refertoGroomerReel(page9–15)).
Note:Ifcuttingunitisequippedwithanoptionalpoweredrearrollerbrush,
removetherearrollerbrushcover,drivebeltanddrivehousingassemblyto
servicethegroomerdrive(refertoRemovingtheRearRoller(Figure188)
(page8–34)foradditionalinformation).
CAUTION
Contactwiththereelorothercuttingunitpartscanresultinpersonal
injury.Useheavygloveswhenhandlingthecuttingreel.
