traction(piston)pumporwheelmotor)isarequirementtopreventdebrisfrom
transmittingthroughoutthesystem.Ifaclosed−loophydraulicsystemltering
toolisnotused(toensuresystemcleanliness)repeatfailuresandsubsequent
damagetootherhydrauliccomponentsinthesystemwilloccur.T oeffectively
removecontaminationfromclosed−looptractioncircuit,useoftheT orohigh
owhydrauliclterandhydraulichosekitarerecommended(seeSpecialTools
(page2–13)).
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,stopengineandremovekeyfromkey
switch.

2.Raiseandsupportmachinesoallwheelsareofftheground.
Note:Ifawheelmotorwasreplaced,installhighowltertotheinlet(when
travelingforward)ofnewwheelmotorinsteadoftotheinlet(whentraveling
forward)ofthetractionpump.Thiswillpreventsystemcontaminationfrom
enteringanddamagingthenewmotor.
