running.Alwaysshutofftheengineandremovethekeyfromthe
keyswitch.
Thedualknobbedknife-to-reeladjustmentsystemincorporatedinthiscutting
unitsimpliestheadjustmentprocedureneededtodeliveroptimummowing
performance.Thepreciseadjustmentpossiblewiththisdesigngivesthe
necessarycontroltoprovideacontinualself-sharpeningaction.Thisfeature
maintainssharpcuttingedges,assuresgoodqualityofcutandgreatlyreduces
theneedforroutinebacklapping.
Inaddition,therearrollerpositioningsystemallowsforvariousheight-of-cut
rangesandaggressivenessofcutselections.
Ifacuttingunitisdeterminedtobeoutofadjustment,completethefollowing
proceduresinthespeciedordertoadjustthecuttingunitproperly.
1.Adjustthebedknifetoreelcontact;refertotheCuttingUnitOperator’s
Manual.
2.Determinedesiredheight-of-cutrangeandinstallrearrollermountingshim(s)
accordingly.;refertotheCuttingUnitOperator’sManual.
3.Adjusttheheight-of-cut;refertotheCuttingUnitOperator’sManual.
