DisassemblingtheRoller(Figure189)
1.Removethebearinglocknutfromeachendofrollershaft.
2.Looselysecurerollerassemblyinbenchviseandlightlytaponeendofroller
shaftuntiloutersealsandbearingareremovedfromoppositeendofroller
tube.Removesecondsetofoutersealsandbearingfromrollertubeby
tappingonoppositeendofshaft.Removetheshaftfromrollertube.
3.Carefullyremovetheinnersealfrombothendsofrollertubetakingcareto
notdamagetubesurfaces.
4.Discardtheremovedsealsandbearings.
5.Cleantherollershaftandallsurfacesontheinsideoftherollertube.Inspect
componentsforwearordamage.Also,carefullyinspectseatingsurfaceand
threadsofbearinglocknuts.Replacealldamagedcomponents.
