IMPORTANT
Whenperformingthemaintenanceproceduresonthecuttingunits,
carefullypositionthecuttingunitreelmotorstopreventdamageto
themotorsorhydraulichoses.
RemovingtheHydraulicReelMotor
1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits
completelytotheground,shutofftheengine,settheparkingbrake,and
removethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Loosenthetwo(2)capscrewsthatsecurethehydraulicreelmotortothe
cuttingunitsideplate.Rotatethemotorclockwiseandremovethemotor
fromthecuttingunit.
3.Inspectthereelinsertsplinesforwear.Replaceifnecessary(refertoReel
Assembly(page8–19)).
4.Placeprotectiveplasticcap(refertoSpecialT ools(page2–13))intothehole
inthecuttingunitsideplatetopreventdebrisentryintoreelbearingarea.
