Thefusesareheldinthefuseblocks.UseFigure115toidentifyeachindividual
fuseanditscorrectamperage.Eachfuseholderhasthefollowingfunction.
F1(15A):ProtectsmainpowercircuittothekeyswitchterminalB.
F2(10A):ProtectsmainpowercircuittothekeyswitchterminalXandtelematics
connector.
F3(10A):ProtectspowercircuitfromthekeyswitchterminalI.
F4(10A):ProtectspowercircuitfromthekeyswitchterminalS.
F5(2A):ProtectspowersupplytotheStandardControlModule.
Testing
1.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONposition(donotstarttheengine)andremove
thecontrolpanel.Withthefuseinstalledinthefuseblock,useamultimeter
tocheckthat12VDCexistsatbothoftheterminaltestpointsonthefuse.
If12VDCexistsat1ofthefusetestpointsbutnotattheother,thefuse
isdamaged.
2.Ifnecessary,removethefusefromthefuseblockfortesting.Thefuseshould
havecontinuitybetweenthefuseterminals.
A.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFpositionandthekeyisremoved
fromthekeyswitch.
B.Locatethefuse(s)tobetestedunderthecontrolpanel.
C.Removethefuse(s)fromthefuseholderfortesting.Thefuseshould
havecontinuitybetweenthefuseterminals.
IMPORTANT
Iffusereplacementisnecessary,ensurethatreplacementfuse
hasthecorrectamprating.
D.Replacethefuseiftestingdeterminesthatitisdamaged.
E.Afteryoucompletethefusetesting,installthecontrolpanel.
