Unitsteeringperformancewillbeaffectedbyincorrectreartirepressure,binding
inthehydraulicsteeringcylinder,extraweightonthevehicle,and/orbindingof
thesteeringforkassembly.Makesurethattheseconditionsarecheckedand
functioningproperlybeforeproceedingwithanysteeringsystemhydraulictesting.
1.Makesurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperatureby
operatingthemachineforapproximately10minutes.
2.Drivethemachineslowlyinagureeightonaatlevelsurface.
A.Thereshouldbenoshakingorvibrationinthesteeringwheelorrear
wheel.
B.Steeringwheelmovementsshouldbefollowedimmediatelybya
correspondingrearwheelmovementwithoutthesteeringwheel
continuingtoturn.
3.Stopunitwiththeenginerunning.Turnsteeringwheelwithsmallquick
movementsinbothdirections.Letgoofthesteeringwheelaftereach
movement.
