6.Startengine.Runengineatlowidlespeedandcheckforanyhydraulic
leakagefromlterandhoseconnections.Correctanyleaksbefore
proceeding.
IMPORTANT
Whileengagingthetractioncircuit,monitorthehighowhydraulic
lterindicator.Iftheindicatorshouldshowred,eitherreduce
tractionpedalsettingorreduceenginespeedtodecreasehydraulic
owthroughthelter.
7.Withenginerunningatlowidlespeed,slowlydepresstheforwardtraction
pedaltothefullforwardpositiontoallowowthroughthetractioncircuit
andhighowlter.Keeptractioncircuitengagedforve(5)minuteswhile
graduallyincreasingbothforwardpressureontractionpedalandengine
speed.Monitorlterindicatortomakesurethatgreencolorisshowing
duringoperation.
8.Withenginerunningathighidlespeedandtractionpedalmovedtothe
forwarddirection,periodicallyapplybrakestoincreasepressureintraction
circuit.Whilemonitoringlterindicator,continuethisprocessforanadditional
ve(5)minutes.
IMPORTANT
Ifusingalterthatisnotthebi−directionalTorohighowlter,
donotpressthetractionpedalinthereversedirection.Ifowis
reversedwhenusingalterthatisnotbi−directional,debrisfrom
thelterwillre−enterthetractioncircuit.
9.Withenginerunningathighidlespeed,alternatelymovetractionpedalfrom
forwardtoreverse.Whilemonitoringlterindicator,continuethisprocessfor
anadditionalve(5)minutes.
10.Shutengineoffandremovekeyfromkeyswitch.
11.Removehighowhydrauliclterandhydraulichosekitfrommachine.
Reconnecthydraulichosetorearwheelmotortting.Makesuretoproperly
tightenhose(seeInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-RingFaceSeal
Fittings)(page5–6)).
12.Lowermachinetoground.
13.Checkuidlevelinhydraulicreservoirandaddcorrectuidifnecessary.
