1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface.Lowercuttingunits,stopengineand
engageparkingbrake.Removekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Raiseandsupportthehood.
CAUTION
Theextensionspringisundertensionandmaycausepersonal
injuryduringremoval.Usecautionwhenremovingspringfromthe
pumplever.
3.Removeextensionspringfromthecablesupportbracketandneutralarm.
4.Disconnecttractioncontrolcablefromthepumplever.Locateandretrieve
three(3)atwashersandrecordtheirpositionforassemblypurposes.
5.Removebothangeheadboltssecuringtheneutralbrackettothepiston
pump.Removeangenutandangeheadboltsecuringtheneutralbracket
tothepumpmountplate.
6.Removecapscrewandatwasherthatsecurethepumpleverandhub
assemblytothepistonpumptrunnion.
7.Separatepumpleverandhubassemblyfrompumptrunnionandneutral
bracketfrommountplate.Locateandretrievekeyfromtrunnion.
InstallingtheNeutralArm
1.Installkeyintotrunnionslot.Positionneutralbrackettothemountplateand
thepumpleverandhubassemblytothepumptrunnion.
2.Securepumpleverandhubassemblytothepistonpumptrunnionwithat
washerandcapscrew.
3.Secureneutralbrackettothepumpmountplatewithangeheadboltand
angenut.Secureneutralbrackettothepistonpumpwithbothangehead
bolts.
4.Positionthree(3)atwasherstotractioncontrolcableend.Securetraction
controlcabletothepumpleverwithcapscrewandlocknut.
CAUTION
Theextensionspringisundertensionandmaycausepersonal
injuryduringinstallation.Usecautionwheninstallingthespring
tothepumplever.
5.Installextensionspringtothecablesupportbracketandneutralarm.
6.Adjustthetractiondriveforneutral;refertoOperator’sManual.
7.Lowerandsecurethehood.
