1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,lowercuttingunits,stopengine,engage
parkingbrake,andremovekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Removethehoodfromthemachine.
3.Separatethehydrauliccylinderfromtherearforkasfollows:
A.Removebothjamnutssecuringtheballjointtotherearfork.
B.Separatetheballjointfromtherearfork.
C.Swingcylinderclearoftherearfork.
CAUTION
Beforejackingupthemachine,reviewandfollowJacking
Instructions(page1–7).
4.Jackuprearwheelenoughtoallowtheremovaloftherearfork.
5.Removelugnutsfromdrivestuds.Removetirewithwheelrimfromwheel
hub.
6.Removefourlocknutsandsocketheadscrewssecuringthehydraulicmotor
totherearfork.Removethemotorfromtheforkandpositionitawayfrom
thefork.
CAUTION
Supportthefrontforktopreventitsfallingduringremovaland
installation.Personalinjuryordamagetotheforkmayresultfrom
improperhandling.
7.Removethebolt,thrustwasher,andlockwasherfromtherearforkshaft.
8.Lowertherearforkfrommachine.
9.Checkthebushingsforwearanddamage.Replaceifnecessary.
InstallingtheRearForkandWheel
1.Ifremoved,installthebushingsintotherearfork.
2.Positiontherearforkthroughtheframe.
3.Installthelockwasher,thrustwasher,andbolttotherearforkshaft.Torque
theboltfrom81to108N·m(60to80ft−lb).Makesurethattheforkturns
freely.
4.Installthehydraulicmotortotherearfork.Securethemotortotheforkwith
fourhexsocketheadscrewsandlocknuts.
5.Securewheelrimtothewheelhubwithfourlugnuts.Torquethenutsfrom
61to88N·m(45to65ft-lb).
6.Lowertherearwheeltotheground.
7.Securethehydrauliccylindertotherearforkasfollows:
A.Swingcylindertotherearfork.
B.Installtheballjointstotherearfork.
C.Secureballjointtotherearforkwithbothjamnuts.Torquethenutsfrom
115to156N·m(85to115ft-lb).
