HUMMUS

2 x 400g tins chickpeas, 1
drained, 1 with liquid
35g sesame seeds
1 tbsp olive oil
60ml lemon juice
1 garlic clove, peeled
1 tsp ground cumin
salt
1. Put all the ingredients, except the salt, into the
Vitamix container in the order listed and secure
the lid.
2. Select Variable 1.
3. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to
Variable 10, then to High.
4. Blend for 1 minute, using the tamper to press the
ingredients into the blades.
5. Season to taste with salt.
