This recipe is needed to make a few of the cocktail recipes
in this section and is a staple for many bar drinks.
1. In a medium saucepan combine the sugar and water.
Bring to the boil, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved.
2. Allow to cool before incorporating into recipes.

1 medium ripe banana,

14 ice cubes
1. Put all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in
the order listed and secure the lid.
2. Select Variable 1.
3. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to
Variable 10, then to High.
4. Blend for 30 seconds or until the desired consistency
is reached.
