Parking the machine
WARNING
Crushing hazard due to machine rolling away under its own weight
after parking it!
Serious injuries or death can be caused by not securing the machine.
Lower the boom and the stabilizer blade to the ground.
Secure the machine accordingly (chocks, for example).
1. Park the machine on firm, level and horizontal ground.
2. Position the boom straight ahead at the center of the machine.
3. Lower the boom and the stabilizer blade to the ground.
4. Stop the engine.
5. Operate the control lever repeatedly to release the pressure in the
hydraulic system.
6. Remove the starting key and carry it with you.
7. Raise the control lever base.
8. Close the windows and doors.
9. Close and lock all covers and doors.
10.Secure the tracks accordingly (chocks, blocks, for example) as shown
in Fig. 125.
Information
In order to prevent the formation of condensation water, add the fuel tank
nearly completely at the end of each working day.
Parking the machine on slopes
If parking the machine on a slope cannot be avoided, observe the
following in addition:
Position the boom on the downhill side of the machine and firmly press
the attachment into the ground.
Press the stabilizer blade against the ground.
Secure the tracks accordingly (chocks, blocks, for example) as shown
in Fig. 126.
