7.9 Cooling system
Information regarding the cooling system
The water and the hydraulic oil radiator is located in the engine
compartment, on the right side of the engine. It cools the Diesel engine,
and the hydraulic oil of the travel and operating hydraulics.
CAUTION
Burn hazard due to hot coolant!
Can cause minor injuries.
Wear protective equipment.
Let the engine cool down.
Carefully open the radiator cap.
NOTICE
Engine damage due to wrong coolant.
Observe the fluids and lubricants table, and the coolant compound
table.
Do not mix the filled-in coolant with other coolants.
NOTICE
Engine damage due to low coolant level.
Check the coolant level once a day.
Checking the coolant level
1. Stop and park the machine. Stop the engine. See “Preparing
lubrication”.
2. Open the engine cover.
3. Check the coolant level on expansion tank A and radiator B.
4. If the coolant level is below the MIN mark or if there is no coolant at the
radiator’s filler inlet:
Add coolant.
5. Close and lock the engine cover.
Information
Check the coolant level once a day before starting the engine.
