CAUTION
Health hazard due to Diesel fuel!
Diesel fuel and fuel vapours are harmful to health!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mouth.
Seek medical attention immediately in case of accidents with Diesel
fuel.
Wear protective equipment.
CAUTION
Fire hazard due to Diesel fuel!
Diesel fuel gives off inflammable vapours.
Fire, open flames and smoking is prohibited.
Adding gas is prohibited.
NOTICE
Do not refuel with cans in order to avoid dirt in the fuel.
The fuel filler inlet is located on the left in the engine compartment.
1. Stop and park the machine. Stop the engine. See “Preparing
lubrication”.
2. Open the engine cover.
3. Remove filler cap A.
4. Refuel.
5. Close filler cap A.
6. Close and lock the engine cover.
Stationary fuel pumps
Even the smallest particles of dirt can cause increased engine wear,
malfunctions in the fuel system and reduced effectiveness of the fuel
filters.
Refueling from barrels
If refueling from barrels cannot be avoided, note the following points:
Barrels must neither be rolled nor tilted before refueling.
Protect the suction pipe opening of the barrel pump with a fine-mesh
screen.
Immerse the suction pipe opening down to a max. 15 cm (5.85 in)
above the floor of the barrel.
Only fill the tank using refueling aids (funnels or filler pipes) with
integral microfilter.
Keep all refueling containers clean.
