5.10 Attachments
Picking up
Injury hazard due to fluid escaping under pressure!
Hydraulic oil escaping under pressure can penetrate the skin and can
cause serious injuries or death.
► Ensure that no one is in the danger zone.
► Before connecting or removing hydraulic lines from the attachment,
ensure that the hydraulic system is not under pressure. Release the
pressure.
► Wear protective clothes.
Personal injury hazard when hitching attachments!
Can cause severe injuries or death.
► Always wear protective equipment when installing the connecting pins.
► Ensure that no one is in the danger zone.
► Only use attachments that are in perfect condition.
► Set and adjust the boom to the correct position with the control levers.
► Align the fastening bores in the attachment with a mandrel to make it
easier to insert the pin in the bores.
► After hitching the attachment or before starting work, ensure that the
lock or the pins are correctly connected with the mount.
► Ensure correct locking with a short and rapid succession of stick and
bucket movements as close as possible to the ground.
