Emptying the water separator
1. Stop and park the machine. Stop the engine. See “Preparing
lubrication”.
2. Prepare a suitable container for collecting the fuel/water mixture.
3. Open the engine cover.
4. Connect a drain hose to port C. Place the hose into a container on the
ground.
5. Turn ball-type cock D to the OFF mark.
➥ Fuel supply is interrupted.
6. Unscrew connection C.
➥ Wait until indicator ring A returns to the bottom of the water
separator.
7. Screw connection C back on again.
8. Turn ball-type cock D to the ON mark.
➥ Fuel supply is open.
9. Remove the hose.
10.Close and lock the engine cover.
Environment
Use a suitable container to collect engine/machine fluids as they flow out
and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner.
