Explanation of the symbols used in this Operator’s Manual1.2
To ensure safe operation and maintenance of the wheel
loader, it is necessary that you follow all the instructions in
this Operator’s Manual.
The following symbols and the signal words DANGER,
WARNING, CAUTION, NOTICE, and NOTE, and the ad-
jacent text, indicate hazards and instructions.
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you
to potential personal hazards.
Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol. ►
DANGER
DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to ►
avoid injury or death.
WARNING
WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to ►
avoid possible injury or death.
CAUTION
CAUTION indicates a hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to ►
avoid possible minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE: Used without the safety alert symbol, NO-
TICE indicates a situation which, if not avoided, could
result in property damage.
