4 Operating Modes
The I/O module has 5 operating modes.
1 PWM DC: Duty Cycle Variables
2 PWM Frq: Frequency Variable
3 PWM Frq-Cnt: Variable Frequency / Adjustable Duty Cycle / Counter
4 Pulse Frq-Cnt: Variable Frequency / Adjustable Pulse Width / Counter
5 PWM Pulse-Dir: Variable Number of Pulses / Frequency and Duty Cycle

4.1 PWM DC
In the default operating mode “PWM DC”, the duty factor can vary from
0 ... 100 % via the process image. The frequency can be preset via
parameterization dialog. The default value is “250 Hz”.
All four available channels can be used independently of each other. To double
the output current, it is possible to connect a channel pair (DO 1 and DO 2 or
DO 3 and DO 4) in parallel. “Bridge mode” must be enabled in the settings. The
operating mode and the values of the first channel (DO 1 or DO 3) are also
applied the respective parallel channel (DO 2 or DO 4). The output data of the
parallel channel in the process image is irrelevant in bridge mode. The
corresponding channel pair is now synchronized. The load must be wired
accordingly at both outputs of the channel pair.
