Moving the Printer
• Always power off the printer and wait for the printer to shut down. To power off the printer, verify
that there are no jobs in the queue, then press the secondary power switch. Wait 10 seconds aft
er
t
he touch screen goes dark, then power off the main power switch. For details, refer to Powering th
e
P
rinter On and Off on page 38.
• Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
• Keep the printer level to avoid spilling toner.
Note: When moving the printer over a long distance, remove the drum cartridges and ton
er
c
artridges to prevent toner from spilling. Pack the printer inside a box.
