4.6.1 Using USB Memory

Batch Saving to USB Memory

Turn ON the power supply to the CPU Unit/CPU Module.

Make sure the security password has not been set for the CPU Unit/CPU Module. Oth-
erwise, any attempts to perform a batch save will fail. Refer to the following section for
details on removing the security password.

Insert the USB memory device that contains the application data to transfer into the
USB connector on the CPU Unit/CPU Module.

Set the INIT pin on the mode switch 1 on the CPU Unit/CPU Module according to the
register type to save.
5.
Press and hold the STOP/SAVE switch on the CPU Unit/CPU Module for at least two
seconds. The batch save operation starts.
When a save operation is performed to the USB memory device, any data that is stored on the
USB memory device will be overwritten.
