Selecting a Memory Number to Save

Press the CURSOR soft key, then set the cursor selection to UP (on the memory
list side).

Select the memory number of the data to save using the rotary knob, arrow
keys, or numeric key pad.
Press the LIST PARAMETER soft key, allowing you to change the information
displayed in the memory list to label names or measurement conditions. For more
information, see section 8.2.

Entering the Name of the File to Be Saved
If you do not set a file name, the file will automatically be assigned a name using a serial
number or date.
For creating a directory and sorting the file list, see the page 8-9.

Press the CURSOR soft key, then set the cursor selection to DOWN (on the file
list side). An underscore is displayed with the memory number selected in step 8.

Using the rotary knob or arrow keys, move the cursor to the line in the file list
displaying NEW FILE.

Press the FILE NAME soft key. The text entry window and corresponding soft key
menu are displayed.

Follow the instructions in section 4.3 to enter a file name.

Press the DONE soft key. The file name is confirmed, and the screen returns to
the previous stage.
