WARNING!
Use the required personal protective equipment. Wear protective gloves and
long sleeves. Some parts have sharp edges.
1. Stop the drive and do the steps in section Electrical safety precautions (page 44)
before you start the work.
2. Remove the front mesh (1 screw at either side).
3. Remove the 3 screws holding the lower edge of the front grating.
4. Loosen the four screws connecting the fan compartment to the grating (2 on both
sides).
5. Remove the five screws closest to the front edge of the top plate.
6. Pull the front grating out. You may need to bend the top plate slightly upwards
out of the way.
7. Remove the two screws holding the fan assembly.
8. Disconnect the fan cable.
9. Pull out the fan assembly. Detach the fan.
Install the new fan in reverse order.
