Replacing the control cubicle fan (Frame R8i and multiples)
WARNING!
Obey the safety instructions of the drive. If you ignore them, injury or
death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
1. Stop the drive and do the steps in section Electrical safety precautions (page 44)
before you start the work.
2. Remove the shrouding (if any) in front of the fan.
3. Disconnect the fan wiring (a).
4. Remove the fastening screws (a) and finger guard (b) of the fan.
5. Install the new fan in reverse order. Make sure that the arrow indicating the air
flow direction points upwards (floor fan) or inward (door fan).

Replacing R1i…R4i inverter module (with option +C204, modules in
their own compartments)

modules safety instructions (3AUA0000102301 [English]). If you ignore
the safety instructions, injury or death, or damage to the equipment
can occur.
If you are not a qualified electrical professional, do not do installation
or maintenance work.

Use the required personal protective equipment. Wear protective gloves and
long sleeves. Some parts have sharp edges.
