Raise the tool to unload the lower arm.14

Remove the attachment screws and washers that

attach the lower arm to the gearbox axis 2.

Lift the lower arm and place it on a secure sur-

face.

Refitting, lower arm

The procedure below details how to refit the lower arm.

Turn off all:

• electric power supply to the robot

• hydraulic pressure supply to the robot

Before entering the robot working area.

Clean the joints that have been opened. See

Fit two guideing pins in two opposite attach-

ment holes of the lower arm.

Art. no. is specified in Required equip-

ment on page 281.

Apply the lifting tool to the lower arm.4

CAUTION

The lower arm weighs 160 kg! All lifting equip-

ment used must be sized accordingly!

Lift the lower arm and move it to its mounting

position.
