Section 11
Move Specimen Procedure
1. From the QC MENU screen, use the Arrow keys on the keyboard to move the
cursor to the file containing the specimen to be moved.
2. Press [VIEW QC LOG].
3. Use the Arrow keys on the keyboard to position the cursor at the result that
is to be moved.
4. Press [MOVE SPECIMEN] to again display the VIEW QC LOG screen.
5. Use the Arrow keys on the keyboard to move the cursor to the file in which
the results are to be placed.
6. Press [MOVE TO FILE] to move the results to the designated file.
NOTE: The result is moved to the end of the list of data that is currently in
the file.
7. The VIEW QC LOG screen of the original file is displayed showing that the
results have been moved.
Write QC to Disk
The [WRITE QC TO DISK] key enables the download of data from a QC file(s) to a
floppy disk.
NOTE: The LAB ID SET UP must be completed prior to downloading QC data
onto a disk. (Refer to Section 5: Operating Instructions; Subsection: Set
Up Instructions.
Write QC to Disk Procedure
1. Place an appropriately-labeled blank diskette in the disk drive.
2. From the MAIN MENU screen, press [QUALITY CONTROL].
3. Place the cursor on the desired QC file and press [VIEW QC LOG].
4. Press [WRITE QC TO DISK].
5. The following message is displayed on the screen:
1.Insert the diskette into disk drive (a:).
2.Press one of the following softkeys:
a. [WRITE LOW] to transfer data into the low
control disk file.
b. [WRITE NORMAL] to transfer data into the normal
control disk file.
c. [WRITE HIGH] to transfer data into the high
control disk file.
6. Press the desired softkey. The selected softkey will label the QC file
accordingly.
7. Press [RETURN].
