Verify that the analyzer is set to the addressable-only mode. The softkey labels that appear when
you press the [ Local/GPIB ] hardkey include [
SYSTEM CONTROLLR
] and [
ADDRESSBL ONLY
]. Only
one of these two softkeys can be selected at a time, and the one that is selected will have a box
around it. Press [
ADDRESSBL ONLY
] if it is not selected.
Note In any GPIB system there can be more than one device with controller capabilities. But
at any given time, only one device on the bus can be designated as the system controller.
