Description:
This command allows you to set bits in the Service Request enable register. Assign a decimal weight to
each bit you want set (to 1) according to the following formula:
2
(bit_number)
with acceptable values for bit_number being 0 through 7. Add the weights and then send the sum with
this command.
Note The analyzer ignores the setting you specify for bit 6 of the Service Request enable
register. This is because the corresponding bit of the Status Byte register is always
enabled.
The analyzer requests service from the active controller when one of the following occurs:
A bit in the Status Byte register changes from 0 to 1 while the corresponding bit of the Service
Request enable register is set to 1.
A bit in the Service Request enable register changes from 0 to 1 while the corresponding bit of the
Status Byte register is set to 1.
