System QL
This parameter shows the quality level value of the timing signal used to clock the
system. Possible values are the quality levels as described in the section “Timing
Concepts”.
Timing mode
This parameter is used to set one of the three timing modes: Locked, Holdover, and
Free Running. The nature of the modes is discussed in the Section Concepts
Timing
If, while operating in the Locked mode, the incoming reference becomes unacceptable,
the timing mode selector switches to Holdover. This is reflected in the Timing
parameter. When the system stays in the Locked mode, the timing status remains
Normal.
In the Free Running mode, the Timing parameter always reflects Normal.
