Independent. This can be done in the procedure ″Switch Active Timing Source″.
Make sure not to use the same priority value for multiple timing sources, unless
explicitly required by the timing plan.

To switch the timing source that is used as the active timing source for station clock
output timing, follow this procedure:

Select Provisioning --> Timing --> Output Timing.
Result: The Provisioned NE Station Clock Output Timing Information window
appears.

Click Switch in the Active Timing Source field.
Result: The Switch Request and Source Selection window appears.

Select a request from the Request list. If a manual switch or a forced switch is
required, select also a timing source to switch to from the Timing Source list.
Important! A switch request can only be made if the Source Selection is set to
Independent.
