Directionality
For a given measurement period, the SDH measurement parameters can be tracked in
one direction (uni-directional) or both (bi-directional). It is possible to monitor
simultaneously:
• uni-directional 15 minutes,
• uni-directional 24 hours
• bi-directional 24 hours.
The table below explains the relationship between termination points, directionality,
measurement periods, and the applicable measurement parameters:
