In order to create an Ethernet service route for RTD measurements, click Add.

Edit an existing Ethernet service route: To modify the configuration parameters of
an existing Ethernet service route for RTD measurements, select the desired
Ethernet service route in the Round Trip Delay Measurements window and click
Edit. The Edit RTD Ethernet Service Route window appears.

measurements by selecting the desired Ethernet service route in the Round Trip Delay
Measurements window.

To define the Ethernet service route, provision the parameters of the RTD test frame:
Parameter Description
Label A user-provisionable name identifying the
Ethernet service route. The label may
consist of up to 20 ASCII characters.
Destination Address The MAC address of the remote NE. The
value must be a unicast MAC address.
Test Frame VLAN ID The VLAN identifier to be encoded in the
S-tag (outermost tag) of the test frame for
the RTD measurement.
The permissible value range is [1 ...
4093].
Test Frame Traffic Class The traffic class to be assigned to the test
frame. Possible traffic classes are 0, 1, 2,
or 3
Test Frame Color The color (dropping precedence, encoded
in the p0 bit) to be assigned to the test
frame. Possible values are green (low
dropping precedence) or yellow (high
dropping precedence).
Test Frame Length The length of the test frame. The length
may vary between 64 and 9220 bytes for
the X5IP card and the length may vary
between 64 and 1650 for the X4IP-V2
card.
