→ In the owner mode, the backup IP address must be identical to one of the
interface’s IP addresses. The backup address explicitly defines which IP
addresses are in the VRRP advertisement message IP address list.
→ For IPv6, one of the backup addresses configured must be the link-local address
of the owner VRRP instance.
