Router Advertisement Commands
router-advertisement
Syntax [no] router-advertisement
Context config>router
Description This command configures router advertisement properties. By default, it is disabled for all IPv6 
enabled interfaces. 
The no form of the command disables all IPv6 interface. However, the no interface interface-name 
command disables a specific interface.

dns-options
Syntax [no] dns-options
Context config>router>router-advertisement
config>router>router-advertisement>interface
Description This command enables the context for configuration of DNS information for Stateless Address Auto-
Configuration (SLAAC) hosts. 
When specified at the router-advertisement level in the routing context, this command allows 
configuration of service-wide parameters. These can then be inherited at the interface level by 
specifying the config>router>router-advertisement>interface>dns-options>include-dns 
command.
The no form of the command disables configuration of DNS information for Stateless Address Auto-
Configuration (SLAAC) hosts.

Syntax server ipv6-address

Context config>router>router-advertisement>dns-options
config>router>router-advertisement>interface>dns-options
Description This command specifies the IPv6 DNS servers to include in the RDNSS option in Router 
Advertisements. When specified at the router advertisement level this applies to all interfaces that have 
include-dns enabled, unless the interfaces have more specific dns-options configured.
