NOTE: Loop the chain over the cylinder and
secure it to keep it from falling into the crankcase.
8. Remove the five nuts securing the cylinder head
to the cylinder; then remove the four cylinder
head cap screws with copper washers (note loca-
tion of the different-sized cap screws and nuts).

9. Remove the cylinder head from the cylinder,
remove the gasket, and account for two align-
ment pins; then remove the cam chain guide.
