O Cable shields must be connected at both ends and over the
entire circumference. These connections shall be done
preferably through the same housing to which the cable
leads. It is not allowed to connect the cable shielding inside
the cabinet.
O In case of plastic or wood ships it is recommendable to use
the diesel engine for the reference potential. If there are
more engines, it has to be guaranteed that they are
connected by a proper low impedance connection.
O Before starting to connect wires and cables, remove the
cover of the 3D Controller by unscrewing the six fastening
screws which hold it (fig. 12)
