Shielded cables must be used for CAN bus connections.
Openings and connectors which are unused must be
covered with protective caps.
5.3.1.2 Applying the cable glands
Cable glands must be used to provide a safe and reliable
connection. Those must be ordered separately. Make sure
that suitable cable glands are provided before establishing
the electrical connections, see also chapter 9, Accessories,
table 5 on page 92.
O Select the appropriate cable glands for the bore holes in the
housing. Select the appropriate hexagone nuts for the cable
glands.

The housing of the 3D Controller provides openings to feed
cables through (fig. 13). The cable gland is inserted into the
opening from the outside of the housing. Each cable gland must
be secured from inside the housing using a hexagone nut.
On each side, the shield must be connected with low impedance
to the vessel ground over the whole circumference. Preferably
