NOTICE!
Risk of frost!
Pieces of ice in the separating and conveying unit or the freezing
of the brush auger onto the wedge wire screen can result in sub-
stantial damage to the screen upon resumption of operation.
Protect the Bioselect and the connections against frost.
NOTE!
Upon first commissioning of the separator, a thick matter
plug must develop in the compactor channel before the
device can be switched to continuous operation. During this
break-in period, it is necessary to proceed step by step.
The pre-tension at the Multi Disc, which acts as a sealer and
peeler, must be tangible but not too strong upon first commis-
sioning.
To achieve an optimum result, it is necessary to adjust the
pre-tension in small steps (and therefore to increase the con-
sistency and lower the liquid content of the solid phase).
NOTE!
Mechanical pre-tension adjustment
The procedure described below relates to the version with
mechanical adjustment. As a rule, the pressure on the Multi Disc
in the version with pneumatic adjustment is adapted by means of
a control unit.
Please observe the information in the BA-RC-Control operating
manual.
