SHIFTER FORKS AND DRUM
DISASSEMBLY
1. See Figure 6-30. Remove and discard the three fork cot-
ter pins (14).
2. Remove three shifter fork pins (15). A small magnet is
useful in freeing the fork pins.
3. Slide shifter fork drum (19) away through shifter forks.
The neutral indicator pin (20) prevents removal in the
other direction.
4. Remove shifter forks (16, 17, 18).
