Replacing an Ink T ank
1. Make sure no print jobs are in progress.
It is time to replace an Ink T ank if any of these messages are shown on the Display Screen : Ink
Lvl: Chk xx , No Ink Left , Ink T ank / Check xx , Ink T ank / Replace xx , Online Key / Press T o
Print , or Not Enough Ink . (In these examples, xx represents an abbreviation for ink colors.)

Do not remove an Ink T ank during initialization immediately after turning on the printer , or during
printing or printhead cleaning.
Initializing
Note
• Ink T ank replacement is possible even when print jobs are being canceled or if paper is being fed.
• Replacement of Ink T ank is possible even during print jobs if No Ink Left is shown on the Display
Screen , but it is not possible to replace Ink T ank in other cases. If you pause printing to replace an
Ink T ank , it may cause the printed images to be blurry .
