4. Hold the empty Ink T ank by the grip and remove it.
Note
• If there is still some ink left in the Ink T ank you removed, store the ink tank with the ink holes (a)
facing up. Otherwise, ink may leak and cause stains.
• Dispose of used Ink T anks according to local regulations.
5. Before opening the pouch, shake the Ink T ank gently seven or eight times. Agitate the ink in the
Ink T ank by rotating your wrist to turn the Ink T ank upside-down and right side up repeatedly .
Note
• If you do not shake the Ink T ank , the ink may sediment, which may af fect printing quality .
